ACT! Tip

Printing a Label

I am often asked if ACT! can print labels  for one contact or multiple contacts at one time.  The answer is yes to both questions.  ACT! allows you to print one label for the current contact, or multiple labels for the current lookup, and even label for the entire database if needed.

How to Print a Label in ACT!
1. Goto the File menu, and select Print

2. Select Labels from the Printout type dropdown field

3. This will bring up your list of labels.  Select the type of label you will be printing (Avery 5160 is the most commonly used, 3X10), and click OK.

4. This will give you the Run Label dialog box with two tabs, General & Position.  On the General tab, you can choose whether you want a label for the Current Contact, Current Lookup, or All contacts.  In addition, you can select whether to Send output to Printer or Preview

5. Click on the Position tab to select where to start the printing if you have already started a label sheet.
