ACT! Tip

Adding Secondary Contacts

ACT! 2005 allows you to add an unlimited amount of secondary (alternate) contacts at a company.  Instead of having to create additional fields for each secondary contact (as how it was in previous ACT! versions), ACT! 2005 has a Secondary Contact tab.

How to Add a Secondary Contact
1. Click on the Secondary Contacts tab, and click the New Secondary Contact icon

2. This will bring up the New Secondary Contact dialog box. Enter the data for the additional contact and click OK.  You will notice you can make these contacts Private by clicking the checkbox marked Private.  Repeat this step if you have more then one secondary contact for that contact.

3.  Once you click OK, the contact(s) will appear on the tab.

4.  There is a Promote button should you desire to make that secondary contact a primary contact sometime in the future.
